I designed the marquee creative for The In Between, a Paramount+ Original film featured on Paramount+, creating a high-visibility platform asset built to establish emotional tone, cinematic presence, and immediate title recognition. Developed for prominent on-platform placement, the work focused on drawing viewers into the film’s atmosphere while positioning the title clearly within the broader Paramount+ brand ecosystem.
The challenge was balancing the intimacy and emotional weight of the film with the clarity required for effective platform promotion. The marquee needed to feel visually restrained and emotionally resonant, while still carrying enough presence to stand out in high-traffic digital environments. It had to invite curiosity, communicate tone at a glance, and maintain alignment with platform-wide design standards without losing the identity of the film.
To achieve that, I focused on strong visual hierarchy, restrained typography, and impactful imagery to create a composition that felt cinematic, polished, and emotionally grounded. Special attention was given to spacing, contrast, and focal balance so the marquee could guide the viewer’s eye quickly while preserving the mood and sensitivity of the title. The result was a design approach that allowed the film’s atmosphere to lead, while still performing effectively in a promotional context.
Project scope included marquee design for platform feature placement, brand-aligned layout and typographic treatment, and optimization for visibility across screen sizes. This required the creative to remain cohesive and legible across devices while maintaining a premium visual standard consistent with the Paramount+ platform experience.
The final marquee helped position The In Between as a compelling on-platform destination, using a refined visual approach to support discovery and reinforce the film’s cinematic identity within the streaming environment.
