As part of my ongoing work for Paramount+, I regularly designed the Coming Up This Month email newsletter, a recurring lifecycle marketing asset created to spotlight upcoming premieres, returning series, and featured content across the platform. As a consistent subscriber touchpoint, the newsletter played a key role in sustaining engagement, reinforcing anticipation, and driving ongoing content discovery.

The challenge was creating a system that could accommodate a broad mix of titles, genres, and brand voices while still feeling cohesive, editorially polished, and distinctly Paramount+. Each edition needed to balance promotional clarity with visual sophistication, presenting a high volume of content in a way that felt easy to navigate, elevated in tone, and fresh from month to month. At the same time, the design had to remain aligned with retention marketing best practices and the broader Paramount+ brand experience.

An added layer of complexity was the fluid nature of the monthly content lineup. New programs, films, and live sports were often introduced late in the process, sometimes continuing right up against final delivery. This required building the newsletter with enough flexibility to absorb last-minute additions and shifting priorities without compromising hierarchy, clarity, or overall visual polish, all while keeping production on track for deployment on the first of each month.

My role included shaping the visual layout, refining imagery, establishing hierarchy across multiple content modules, and ensuring strong readability across devices and email clients. Because the featured lineup evolved with every send, modularity and scalability were central to the design approach. I developed flexible patterns that allowed the newsletter to adapt efficiently to changing content needs while maintaining consistency, structure, and a premium overall feel.

As an ongoing campaign, the work required not only creative range but also a disciplined systems mindset. I built repeatable design solutions that streamlined production and improved consistency across editions, while still creating space for variation, emphasis, and standout treatment of priority titles. This balance of efficiency and refinement helped ensure the newsletter remained both operationally reliable and visually compelling over time.

The final result was a premium, dependable lifecycle asset that supported subscriber retention, elevated monthly content storytelling, and extended the Paramount+ brand through a thoughtful, scalable email experience.
